> 24 hourIve owned this for 2 months; used it on two projects and last night it didnt want to pull out right. I manged to get it out but it would not go back in. There was no spring tension. My advice is to just go ahead and get a heavy duty tape measure and spend a little more.

> 24 hourThe tape I got was American made but was still defective. The tape hook moves as it should but must be offset because the measurement is off a fat 16th. Making the tape measure useless for trim work and worthless to me. I am unable to return it because I waited more than 30 days before I even opened it to use it. Never have had this problem with a Stanley tape before

> 24 hourOverall, I cant find anything negative to say about this tape measure. It performs its function admirably, and it seems to be very durable as well. I particularly like how quickly it retracts, and the fact that the whole tape measure just seems very solid and well-constructed.
