STANLEY Tape Measure, Chrome, 25-Foot (33-425)

I find these indispensable in every household. In fact on every floor and I carry a smaller one in my purse. Maybe it is just me but I am always thinking of adding, subtracting or rearranging furniture, rugs etc. Or finding an item somewhere and wondering if it will fit. Everyone in my family is this way. This is a nice tape measure because it is easy to read and the lock function works very well.

No complaints.

I ordered two and both of them have really thick measurement marks, as if the printing press was over inked. It makes measuring precisely impossible since each measurement mark is so wide! It may sound petty but this makes a difference in the quality of my work. These are unusable by my standards. I always use Stanley tapes. Something was wrong with these!

Ive had several different tapes through the years, have now used this tape daily for fulltime construction work for over a year, works just as well as the day I bought it!

This is the classic, reliable tape measurer that I would borrow from my grandpa. But now that Im a big-time adult, I decided to splurge and get one for myself. Its super reliable, and its exactly what youre expecting it to be.

The tape got damaged somehow as you can see on the photo. Happened after two months or so. Disappointed.
