Simple and easy to use, with clear markings. Just be careful when letting go of tape which has been extended out since it does wind back quite quickly I reserve the right to revisit and edit this review as appropriate after further testing of this product

Have found that my current 5m tape just doesnt quite do all the jobs needed of it so 8m seemed perfect. Strong clearly marked wider than usual tape and robust housing make this a good buy. My only reason for 4* is that the tape lock just doesnt feel quite strong enough. Happy with the buy though

Bought for my birthday used ones and broke. Surpassed the return time also . Very bad product despite the ratings

Seems fine. For a few pence more, a tie could have been added to hang it up.

I now have 3 tapes in 3 strategic locations so I always have one near at hand when needed. This is the second of these I have bought. It is sturdy and truly fit for purpose and at just over £6, a fair price. Smart looking as well

Added bonus of longer tapes is that they are generally wider and therfore more sturdy at extension. This version is no exception. Very pleased with it.

Fantastic tape measure great length, bright and solid

Seems altogether robust. The return spring is strong (good) but the lock mechanism takes a firm push to engage. The scale markings are clear but the curl on the blade can sometimes make it difficult to see. Unless youre Chippendale this should be ok
