The game is great. The directions that come with the game are good for explaining all the cards and how to set up the game. However the directions for playing the game are terrible. A 2min YouTube video cleared that right up.

My kids love playing Star Realms. It’s relatively easy to learn and straightforward. I had expected a little more arguing since I have one kid who likes to dominate games, but even they were amicable to play with this game.

Boss fights add a whole new level to the game when you can co op take down a single enemy and it is a challenge everyone can enjoy. No two fights are the same due to well balanced mechanics of the boss cards worth a look if you ever wanted to change up the game or just wanted some new elements to put into your basic Star Realms deck.

This game has 4 things going for it. First, its Fun. Second, its easy to teach. Third the box is small enough to carry anywhere. and fourth, it Supports 1-4 players right out of the box. It can work with up to 6 players if you add either basic star realms or the Colony wars set and it can be played in a variety of formats including cooperative and team based. Another bonus is that the art is much more dynamic than it was in the original set. this little box is a great value and a really good edition of a very well designed and fun game.

Really nice and fun game with lots of variety.

I play a lot of games, and this is the best two player game I have found. I get bored in a lot of two player games. They are typically too simple in heir mechanics to stay interesting. This one is still simple in that its easy to learn, but I played like every other night for a month, and we really enjoyed it. The game can be multiplayer (it comes with really interesting multiplayer rule variations), but it plays best with just two.
