Its a Starrett. It doesnt disappoint :) The design is very intuitive (the way in which the blades are organized and labeled) and the thumb screws make it easy to fix the blade you are using out while keeping the others out of the way.

Very accurate and durable

Three black knobs are metal not plastic. Came coated with oil. Well made. If you are looking for Made in USA engrave in this product....bad news - you will not find it.

As a gunsmith, I work with many firearms containing multiple screws. This tool is a quick and easy way to select the correct replacement screw.

I did my homework before getting a thread gauge. This gauge has the most gauges in it, for one tool, that you will find. It basically has ever thread youll ever run across in it.

Starrett made a great tool here, Im happy with it and plan to buy the metric version next.

Expensive, but it covers the real spread of thread sizes and it is nice to use. Each segment retrieves and locks easily.

Starrett tools are top drawer, that excellent caliber of manufacturing has always been present in everything Ive ever purchased from them. Starrett maintains a quality level thats often times difficult to find in todays marketplace of tools.
