We plug our Christmas lights into an outlet on our lamp post. The outlet is turned 90-degrees -and I also wanted a flat plug so it runs parallel with the lamp post. A couple of black Velcro straps and no one notices its there.

For $6 I can get a much longer extension cord at Home Depot or anywhere else, but I understand that shipping is not actually free and built into the cost of the product. Other than this is exactly what it says it is, a 1ft right angle extension cord that allowed me to plug my Chromecast into a tight outlet behind my TV

We all have an outlet hiding behind some piece of furniture that has something plugged into it, preventing the furniture (bed, bookcase or whatever) from being as close to the wall as we would prefer. Just shoving the furniture harder against the wall isnt a good solution as you might damage cords. These are short extension cords with a 90 degree plug at the wall side so you can put things closer to the wall and not damage cords. My favorite part is that the cord is a true right angle from the wall, so it doesnt matter if you have old style (ground pin down) or new style (ground pin up) outlets in your home. The Good: - Short, 0.3 m extension cords with a low profile right angle wall plug. The Bad: - Youll have a hard time convincing yourself to inspect these periodically once they are installed. The Meh: - Youre never going to see these once you install them. You should probably inspect them once a year though just to make sure nothing is backing out of the wall or the cord. Checking them is on the same schedule as replacing the batteries in my smoke alarms.

Some of the outlets I need to use are behind furniture or shelves and the appliances are not flat headed cords. I dont want to purchase a 6, 10, or 12 foot long flat head extension cord that makes me have to stuff the excess cord behind the furniture so I got these short ones. This way I can plug the short cord into the outlet, the appliance into the short cord and then push the shelf or furniture flush to the wall. It is also good that these cords have polar plug tongs because my apartment has these weird breaker outlets that wont accept non-polar plugs. So fare I have bought about 6 of these short flat head cords and I will probable buy 4 more so ALL the outlets near floor can be accessible.

I bought a new coffee maker that I need to plug in, but the space was too tight for the plug on the machine. I bought this 90 plug to fit into the space and it worked perfect!!!!

Save room around the office, maximize power outlet space, and extend the length of your bulky power cords. This flat extension cord lets you do all three. Plug in your power cord flat against the wall The low-profile extension cord has a right-angled NEMA 5-15 plug that sits flat against the wall. This lets you save clearance room when plugging in your device behind a cabinet, desk or other piece of furniture. You no longer need to push up against the plug so that your furniture isn"t sticking off the wall. This avoids putting strain on the plug and protects it from damage. You can use it to extend any NEMA 5-15 power cord (computer, TV, office lamp, etc.) that needs to be plugged into a power outlet located behind a piece of furniture. Free up unused outlets and replace bulky power plugs The right-angle power cord also lets you maximize the space on your power strip, surge protector or wall outlet. Since the plug sits to the right of the outlet, the outlet below it or above it isn"t blocked which comes in handy when you have to plug in a device with a large, bulky power cord. You can plug the bulky power cord into the receptacle of the extension cord and plug the right-angled plug into the outlet, freeing up another outlet that would have otherwise been blocked.
