> 3 dayResidential network where I pulled string out of the walls using a robust, antiquated phone line network, replaced with Cat6 throughout. This is definitely the right size rack for any home network that has or will eventually have wired ports, network storage and/or security cameras. Overkill if youre doing less than 6-10 network drops, or have a full pile of rack-able home theater equipment (might be too small in that case). As others have mentioned, the cross bar is mounted in a way thats convenient for the manufacturer to ship, but you SHOULD plan on flipping or reversing the cross bar to suit your needs. There are pre-drilled holes top and bottom of the unit, so mine is re-mounted upside down on the bottom of the rack, so as not to conflict with a rack power strip, and to free up space at the top for a rack shelf. I would agree with others, too, that say its plenty robust without, once you have a few devices mounted. YMMV.

> 3 dayProduct arrived much earlier than anticipated. Easy to install, easy to use. Overall no issues to install, sturdy design and the coating was strong enough to withstand the installation process.

> 3 dayThis is just right. Small enough to fit in a small space in my utility room. Holds my poe switch, cable modem, router, and smart things hub. I did order a separate shelf, but this is just right. Seems to be well made. Switch and shelf mounted easily with the included hardware

> 3 dayThis product works as a rack, but not as described in the manual. The manual (ink provided below.) says there are 12 x M6 cage nuts and screws (wrong, only 7), 4 M5-25 mm flat-head screws / 4 plastic anchors (wrong, none), 1 metal panel stabilizing bracket (wrong, none), instruction manual (wrong, found on web). The manual also reports the installation holes are 16 on center (wrong 17.25). I had to purchase my own screws to mount my rack units, 4 anchors to mount in the drywall. After I provided the needed material the rack itself holds my rack-able shelves and units. I would stay away from this product and look for one that provides what is described in their manual. [...]

> 3 dayI had another, bigger rack that was sticking out too far in my basement storage room. This one has sides on it, where the other rack was wide open. The only holding it back from 5 stars is the price. Its a piece of formed/bent metal with holes in the front for your switches and patch panels. It might cost $40 to actually make it.

Greater than one weekI feel like it’s made out of quality steel, and properly mounted it will do exactly as it’s designed to.
