> 3 daymy mom purchased this red wagon for Christmas for my 18 mth old son and he loves it. Better than a stroller if you are just going for a ride around the neighborhood or the park, he can see all of natures beauty and he is comfortable and happy. My husband put it together, it wasnt too difficult. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

Greater than one weekThis is my third Step 2 product and all of them so far have been well-designed and fun for our daughter. This is no exception. I was pleasantly surprised how deep and long the wagon was. Now my daughter is just 22 months and on the small side. But her and a 3 year old friend both get in and have plenty of room. I also like that there are safety waist straps on both sides. Assembly is pretty straight forward but we did run into a couple of problems. Throughout the assembly you are asked to use a hammer to get end pieces on. While doing this the metal flattened out and expanded on the rear axle making it impossible to put on. We considered calling Step 2 and I am sure they would have been great. But instead we bought a $7 metal file from Wal-Mart and filed the end down. It then worked ok. BUT be sure to use the provided brace on the opposite end so the axel is pushed up as far as possible when putting on the second rear wheel. Once assembled very pleased with the operation. It is easy to both push and pull and the wheels are very smooth. One design flaw though. The side for drinks is very roomy. All of our sippy cups fit with ease. The other side is supposed to be for chip bags or books. It is much too shallow. Bizarre oversight. It is basically useless. In the end we decided on this over the cozy coupe for added verticality and we are not disappointed. You might not have any assembly problems and the assembly is not hard. We found a workaround fairly easily for our problem. Aside from the way too shallow chip holder all other aspects of the wagon are well-designed. I also like the color, a true fire engine red. I dont think you would go wrong with any of the other Step 2 wagons either. Recommended.

07-06-2025Our two youngest children are ages 1 & 3 and let me tell you this is a great investment!! You not only get your exercise while pulling them along but they have so much fun checking out the world around them while being stationary. To me thats a win - win situation for any parent. This was easy to assemble and hours of entertainment for your little ones. Very highly recommended!

> 3 dayIm convinced that a requirement to making childrens toys is that you dont have kids because theres no way that a parent would make something so difficult to assemble. First off, the caps have metal inside of them to grasp the metal axels and when you pound them in with a hammer, it leaves metal shavings on the wheels and the floor. Awesome when you have a toddler walking around barefoot. Secondly, the instructions are a joke. Nothing is labeled and the booklet is in black and white so half of the time, you cant tell what part theyre using. I threw that away and used my common sense to put it together. It is sturdy which is good because we will be taking it on walks, to the lake, etc. Nothing was broken but it did almost fall out of the box when I brought it inside because the box was taped once on each side. Overall its ok for the price but Im definitely not encouraged to buy from Step2 again.
