As others have said, there is something satisfying about the metallic clink of the coins in the game. Much better than cardboard!

Only thing I dislike is that the money cannot stack. Besides that the real metal coins adds a lot to the viticulture game! Worth buying.

Got these coins to use for Concordia, though will play double duty when I wind up getting Viticulture. As others have mentioned, they look great, have a very satisfying heft and clink, and really add a nice bonus to gameplay. However, the embossed designs and thin edges mean these coins DO NOT STACK, which is very disappointing. Thats the one real flaw with this otherwise lovely set of coins. The sizes are very pleasing, with the £1 coins being about the size of an American nickel (about 7/8 or 22mm). The £2 are slightly larger than a quarter (about 1 or 26mm. £5 are larger than a half dollar (about 1.25 or 32mm). Colors are also nice, with an aged darkened patina giving depth. £1 is copper, £2 is silver, and £5 is gold.

We have never played Viticulture but these coins are perfect for Great Western Trail. Try them once with GWT and you will never again play GWT without them.
