Greater than one weekExcited to try this light out on my helmet. First time use, yep the tiny screw that secures the light to the bracket came loose and the light slid off the bracket. The Allen wrench that was supplied is only the size to secure it to my helmet. So the tiny screw doesn’t secure they light well enough and it will loosen back up over time. I had such high hopes for this little light, but do yourself a favor and stay with the original Vantage Streamligh helmet light. It’s a much better and more secure bracket. Very disappointed with this purchase. Sent back for a refund

Greater than one weekI got the light. It is brighter than original vantage. They are shipping both wrenches. The light mount I hear is being reworked and they putting a bigger screw in.

> 3 dayBought this for my traditional helmet so this review has to do with the firefighter helmet mount. Powerful little light! You’re not gonna be able to spotlight something 100ft away, but it definitely works in interior operations with smoky conditions. Very well made mount. Took me a minute to figure out how to swivel the light so I’ll include it here. Loosen the tiny set screw almost all the way out (don’t worry- there’s some sort of ring in it that keeps it from coming out) then just turn the mount 90 degrees! I had to use a pair of vise grips and a pliers to get mine to go, but it does go

> 3 dayGreat Light until you shear off the set screw that holds the light onto the mount. But Ill definitely be replacing it with the same light.

> 3 dayThis is a huge improvement over the prior stream light model which you had to mount on the bottom of the brim so it was resting on the power buttons all the time. This has the power button on the back and can be flipped to mount on the top or bottom, left or right. Even brighter. I hope it lasts as long only having 1 battery and not two.

> 3 dayGreat light would definitely recommend to anybody. I don’t know about two wrenches but Streamlight is a great company sure they will fix the problem.

> 3 dayAwesome light once I was able to get it onto my helmet. I have a traditional style helmet and wanted to mount it below the brim. The way the clamp is, you cant use the allen wrench that came with the package unless I put it way back on the helmet. Its further back than I wanted but it still works. I plan to use a shorter allen wrench later to readjust the position. But the light is bright, of course in a structure fire your not going to be able to see even with a light but my main focus was while crawling or close to the floor seeing what was in front of me and I was able to do that long as I stayed low. Low profile light didnt get tangled up in everything and has worked flawlessly for a couple weeks now.
