I have owned many different types of lights and this one is the best. The charger comes with a car adapter and 110v adapter. It will charge the flashlight and the spare battery at the same time. The selectable intensity is convenient when transitioning from map reading to illuminating over 100 yards across a field and can be used to prolong battery life. The strobe feature is excellent when walking along the roadside. Cars really take notice of you. I have 6-D cell flashlights (maglight) that are bulkier and still dont have the power of this unit. I also have an 8-D cell Scuba diving light (pelican), and the illumination barely comes close to this unit. Streamlight is a well known brand that stands behind their product with a lifetime warranty (abuse not covered). My nephew is an auto mechanic. He has been using his daily for over 5 years. It is subject to oil, grease, automotive fluids and drops into engine compartments. Recently the switch on his acted up so he contacted Streamlight. They rebuilt the unit, replaced the clear lens and only charged for shipping and handling. Its like brand new again and no questions asked. This isnt my only Streamlight. I had to buy another because my wife keeps taking mine! You wont go wrong and this is the best price I have seen.

Great light...a little on the expensive side but happy I bought it. 3 settings are nice and the battery lasts a decent length plus I bought an extra battery. Not really needed for a normal exploratory day in plumbing. Only not good for extended time being the light gets awfully warm. Giving it 5 stars because the light is great.

Nice light. Battery doesn’t last too long on high but still works well. And if you have a spare batt your good.

One at work, one at home, this one bought as a gift. These lights are worth their money. Durable and bright. Had one survive being run over by an 84 passenger school bus.

I bought one of these beast about fifteen years ago for night photography. I needed something that was reliable could shoot a good beam of light over a 20-100. After fifteen years something finally died. Since I couldnt replace the bulb I decided to replace the whole flashlight. The new one is even better than my 2005 model. Its a bit lighter weight, comes with adjustable brightness, and it comes with two batteries. Ive only used it for one week, but I expect it will be just durable as my 2005 model.

I could see clearly what was what in the engine bay coated with oil. Came in handy when there was a power outage in the neighborhood.
