As others have posted, it is very hard to tie, but once done it is great. Love that it is clear.

This is the perfect size for making bead bracelets for the kids. Use this all the time.

Really hard to work with. Unties easily. Breaks when trying to tie tight. Ill stick with the traditional elastic next time.

I just started making necklaces for my daughter. I usually use wire and clasps, but wanted to try stretch cord. I looked up a tutorial online and found Stretch Magic. I had a hard time when it was time to tie the knot because it kept coming undone, even though I stretched it and pulled it tight, as the tutorial said. Got it done but I have a pretty large chunk of knot. Then I made a matching bracelet. When I tied the knot and pulled it tight, it broke. Beads all over the place. I am not impressed at all.

I don’t think this is real stretch magic. I’ve never had an issue with stretch magic breaking and this was thin and brittle and broke when making bracelets.

This strong, stretchy cord is great for stringing larger beads. I will caution that the knots you make with this thicker cord are considerable larger than when you use a thinner cord (like the .5 or .7mm cord, which the same company also makes). So this thickness works particularly well when there is a bead hole large enough to hide the knot. The knot will also undo easier than knots on thinner cords, so make sure to add a touch of glue to the knot!
