There is some assembly required for the base and to attach the bike to the base. It would be nice if the there were a quick release for the attachment points on the rocking base to the axle of the bike so that the bike could be removed easily when headed outside to play.

Super cool

We got this for my son, for his first birthday! Needless to say, we spent a ton of money on other toys as well and this is by far his favorite! Love the base that is detachable. He was on this at least a few weeks before he started walking. Next Travis Pastrana right here!

My kid loves it, but be aware that once on a stand, it can and will be used as a stepping stool.

assembly was simple. Only abit difficult when it came to getting screws in place and getting them tightened as it was a small area to work with.
