    Claims to be fiberglass--looks like plastic connectors which break easily! Cant be fixed because of the break location. Rarely used, less than 2 yrs. old. In a drizzle, set it down on the ground for a moment, two supports snapped! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

    I could not open this umbrella no matter which hand I used. The color is lovely. The umbrella feels lightweight and I do wonder how well it will hold up on a windy rainy day. Unfortunately, I must return it. I cant use it if I cant open it. Bummer
