> 3 dayInstalled this easily with the car on jack stands in my garage. Re-used the original spring pin that hold the joint to the transmission shifter stub. I important tip- after driving the pin out from the bottom up through the top side of the old joint, use a punch or bolt of the same diameter, inserted from the top side to hold everything in alignment while you re-insert the pin to install the new joint. Also, I used a foot long piece of steel rod with about 2 inches of clear rubber hose attached, to hold the pin on the rod, while I hammered the pin into place. Rod works well as a long punch and you dont have to hold the pin on the end because its captured by the hose.

> 3 day100% perfect for my 2005 Subaru WRX. The pin is a bit of a pain, which this doesn’t come with a pin. It didn’t bother me because I was able to reuse my old one but if you intend on replacing it make sure you buy one also because it is not included. Feels like a new car with the way it shifts.

> 3 dayJust the part needed to fix the common slop in early to mid 2000’s Subarus 5-speed cars. Fast shipping, brand new oem part. Make sure when doing the job you also grab a return spring pin sold separately unless your old one looks ok but for 2-3 dollars for part might as well grab it.

> 3 dayThe roll pins are a bit tough to get the right angle on them with a long punch, but worked out with patients. I suggest getting the updated pinch bolt and replace the roll pin, especially if cant lift car up to have easy access. But great product and quality. Make sure to check the rear and cup bushings in the shifter housing. No more sloppy gearbox.
