Love the bright lights, but took me over an hour to un-string.

Batteries operated. Lights are very bright and has lots of light modes to choose from.

These lights have a warm hue to them. They operate off a 3-cell AAA battery pack (batteries not incl). Im surprised at how good this is for not too much money. I grabbed the not-so-fresh batteries I had on hand. Many hours of use later theres no sign of diminished light output. Must require very little power. And it comes with a remote control: on/off + 10 different patterns of blinking, translating, I havent really tested the range limit of the remote but from the12ft distance of my sofa to the base unit it works just fine. The wire that forms the backbone of this string is thin and must be unwound carefully so as to avoid tangling. It probably would not hold up to much abuse but if youre able to put it out where its not going to be subject to pulls/kinks/stretches youll be fine. I strung them around the room at Christmas as another festive touch. With the holiday weeks past now though Ive kept them up. Adds a nice atmosphere in the cold dark winter days..

Unless you love constantly changing batteries just by 2 stands of 100 lights each, theyll last much longer

Bought these to dress up my crutches. Worked really well. Just wrapped them around each crutch (one set per crutch), added batteries and that was it! I didn’t use tape, and just wrapped the cord strategically to get the battery unit to stay in the little Y part of the crutch. It works well on one, the other comes loose sometimes. Clear masking tape would probably be more secure. I live in a big city and feel safer with the lights on. People give me more space, and cars slow down earlier when they see me trying to cross the street. Plus these lights make me look fabulous and cheer me up during kind of a rough time in my life. It also pivots the conversation from “omg what happened?!” to “omg those crutches look great!” Would recommend. The buttons are a bit annoying (you have to click it a bunch of times to get the lights to stay on. I wish it had fewer settings so you could just click it on and off on the unit). And the wires are THIN. My crutches fell over a few times and one of the wires snapped, so the lights on half the chain stopped working. Would still recommend to a friend, though, but maybe be more careful than I was.

Like the lights, very brights just thought the string the lights were on would be bigger.

For the grandkids room

They work great look amazing on the bare tree with the snow only two real issues. You have to be super close to use the remote and it says option 8 is always on there is no solid feature only blinking. Other then that they work well and look great

Must start with the photo...the lights hanging from the ceiling are a different purchase and much dimmer. When I got these fairy lights at first I was surprised at how tiny the bulbs are but the strands are long and it turns out they are very bright. So I had these Chinese paper decorations from my daughters bday party years ago and put the fairy lights inside them and I love it. Only caveat is that my TV remote controls all the lights, even the other type, so changing the volume can mean strobe lights.

When it worked, it was great! Remote didnt work.
