I got this to protect my suitcase when we travel to Florida in a month and it fits perfect with room to spare. My suitcase is a 28 suitcase, so I see no issue with it fitting a 30 inch like its Intended for. I like how theres cutouts with zippers for where handles should be and gives options for the other side as well. The other cover I got only has it on one side and doesnt fit those so this a huge thumbs up. It does have a strong plastic smell, so I just put it on my porch to air out for a few days and it went away. I also had my 3 year old want to roll around it to get rid of the stiffness and make the plastic a bit softer and it held up well to his rough playing so I can see it holding up good when we travel.
