Greater than one weekI used this product to embroider on quilt blocks! I traced the pattern using a light board, water soluble pen and pencil onto the Sulky sheet. I also copied the pattern, and used my printer with a Sulky sheet. Make sure you have enough ink in your printer. The adhesive sticks good, does not leave any residue on fabric, even after the material soaks off. You will get some residue on your needle while stitching. I kept an alcohol pad handy to wipe off the residue as needed. I will be using and ordering again as needed.

Greater than one weekThis product worked wonders for cutting thin stretchy fabric. I just peeled off the backing and applied it to the fabric. I was even able to draw on it with a pencil so I could measure the pieces of fabric that I needed. I drew the pieces of fabric that I needed to cut right on the stabilizer, then I drew a small margin around the edges of the pieces to use for a guideline for my hand sewing, so my stitches would be even and straight! I kept the stabilizer on while I did my sewing because it made the fabric so much easier to work with. After all the sewing was done, I rinsed the pieces (one at a time) with warm running water and the stabilizer just melted away! I had to rub the places where I had sewn the fabric to get the stabilizer out from between the stitches, but it was super easy and kind of fun to watch it melt away! After the fabric dried, there was no trace left of the stabilizer. This was my first time using a stabilizer and Im definitely a fan of this stuff! No tearing or cutting needed to get rid of it, just water! Just be careful not to get it wet until youre ready to remove it!

> 3 dayThis stuff is amazing! I like to hand draw patterns and then import them into a computer program to tidy things up, resize, etc. And this stuff is wonderful to print onto! Easy peasy!! I dont think Ill ever go back to the hold up to the window and trace with a fabric marker method.

> 3 dayThese sheets are amazing!! They worked great for some words I needed to embroider. They were easy to print, cut, peel, stick and remove. Here’s a tip I learned along the way - if you are using ivory or white embroidery floss to do letters, it is hard to see what you’ve completed because it blends into the color of the paper. To fix this I edited my type to have white letters with a black highlight, it made the letters stand out really well and made it much easier to see what I had completed (and the quality of my work) with light embroidery floss. Also, these papers dissolved so easily! I just let them sit in my washer with some water for 15-30 minutes and all the paper had disappeared. They are magic

> 3 dayOne of the best products invented since sliced bread!! Im not sure I would be as obsessed with embroidery if it wasnt for this product. As every embroiderer knows, the pattern transfer is the worst part of any project. No way would I want to transfer a complicated design by having to trace it. Not...for...me. This product lets you print any design from your computer or indirectly from your computers scanner onto the printable sheets. Not once have I had any trouble with the sheets getting stuck in the printer. And then you just stick the design onto your fabric and embroider through it. It really doesnt leave much residue on your needle, perhaps just a hint, but not enough to cause issues. After youre done, just put it in a bowl of water, swish it around, and the adhesive transfer dissolves very quickly. Then you can just put your embroidered fabric face down on towel and press the water out with a dry iron. Viola! It is worth the apx. $1 per sheet you pay. What I do if I have designs that are smaller than 8-1/2x11 is print multiple designs on one sheet by either using a software program (I just copy line art in Word and arrange it) or printing out images on plain paper, cut and tape them to fit to size. Then, once I print one transfer sheet, Ill just cut out and use the one design I want to do and save the others for when Im ready. Love, love, love this stuff!!

> 3 dayThe Sulky Printable Fabric Solvy stabilizer, 8.5 x 11 12-Pack, White is a very good product. I use this product for hand embroidery. Its not very tacky and is very easy to dissolve in water.

> 3 dayI liked this product for embridery. Since embroidering on clothes. This stabilizer easily held on and stuck until I washed it. It washed off like it was never there to begin with! Highly recommend this stabilizer if you want to print a design to make. I used this to stitch anime characters and anime related things to my clothing (yes I’m a weeb) but with this embroidering designs are endless. Just copy a picture, paste it into google docs or word (whichever you so choose) adjust the size, change it to black and white or keep the color, and stitch away!

19-11-2024I literally love this stuff. I usually use pencil to stencil my images and that works perfectly for me! Ive also learned that it makes stitching spotify codes waaay easier and now I can rick roll people with my shoes!! Who woulda thunk? On certain fabrics the stickiness tends to wear off, but it isnt too much of a hassle really. I am so so happy with this stuff. Worth the money, and would buy again.
