Summer Myria DLX Modular Travel System with the Affirm 335 DLX Rear-Facing Infant Car Seat, Slate Gray – Convenient Stroller and Car Seat with Advanced Safety Features

> 3 dayHaving had the opportunity to review many car seats from a variety of manufacturers, it’s worth being clear that this is a basic, entry level item. It’s well designed for this price point, but lacks the higher level safety features of Baby Jogger or Maxi Cosi. I like that it can be installed rear facing, which is safer and allows it to be placed in the front seat. It’s extremely lightweight and easy to install and maneuver. The weight limit is 35 lbs, which is light compared to higher end models. This means you’ll need to buy a replacement much sooner as your child grows, which over time diminishes the budget price tag. Bottom line, if you’re on a budget and this is all you can afford, this is a great car basic car seat. It is not a giant killer thus by spending more you can find demonstrably superior car seats as you move up the baby equipment food chain.

> 3 dayWe are currently expecting and wanted to try this system out. It is an infant car seat, base and single stroller set. Its very easy to put together. I only see 4 pieces for the stroller and that includes the 2 wheels. The base is heavy but thats a great thing. The stroller has some weight to it but still lite weight and easy to handle. I also like that its mostly black and the inside cushion is grey so its gender neutral.

> 3 dayI gifted this item to a friend with an 18 lb ankle biter, so my review is from what she stated, as follows.

> 3 dayLove this stroller/car seat combo so far... my baby is 3 1/2 months now and we’ve gone on many walks, in the desert and on sidewalk. No issues or complaints. I can put the stroller in my trunk using one hand :)

Greater than one weekFirst of all, let me just gush about how pretty this car seat is for a moment; I have always despised baby stuff in general from car seats to strollers to playpens because it all just used to be so darn ugly. It seemed that all that was available only came in a limited variety of hideous color combinations and tacky fabric patterns. It is such a relief to find that one no longer has to choose between ugly and uglier - there are simple, clean, tasteful designs available nowadays and this carseat is one of them!

Greater than one weekI was not familiar with the Summer brand of products but I am very happy with this stroller / car seat combination, no negatives. The assembly was beyond simple and both units are plenty sturdy, functional, and look good. With the pricepoint coming in right under $300, there is nothing but upside to this purchase.

> 3 dayExcellent quality, comes completely assembled and ready to be used out of the box. Easy to transform into a travel system (car seat and stroller) when you also have the Summer Myria Modular Stroller. Fits on stroller with no effort. FloatCarry handle and lightweight seat so its portable. Good price point. 4 different positions for the carry handle so you can figure out which works best for you. Of course, the 5-point harness to keep your baby safely in the seat. Never heard of teh anti-rebound bar before but it sounds like a terrific addition to help ensure your baby is not hurt in an accident.
