when i connected to 12volt battery and 12 volt light,the cbles shorted through insulstion and caught fire.

I was seriously surprised a the quality of these test leads. Theyre well made, and seem to be decent quality wire. I realize its only a short run of wire, but theres no voltage loss through the leads. Very happy.

Nice sized clips can grip medium bolts, wire gauge is good.
