Easy way to get dusk to dawn outside lights. And most inexpensive way too.

Working great so far

I use this for the light post outside. It has a light sensor but does not turn the light off until a few hours after dawn. This light definitely helps with off time. Just after dawn the light is out and just after sunset it is on, just as it should be. It also has a excellent level of light and is not abrasive to your vision as some others I had purchased.

I have wall sconces on my patio and wanted something that wasnt overly bright for evening entertaining. These bulbs fit the bill perfectly. I just hope they hold up over time.

Was trying to duplicate a warmer ambient old incandescent filament that had more of a yellow orange glow. This 3000k bulb appeared to work well except it was too bright and too white so we replaced the 60 watt bulb with a 40 watt 2700k bulb which worked much better for our purpose. That 40 watt bulb still didnt match the orange yellow glow but it was a lot more acceptable than this 3000k one.

These bulbs look great in our front lantern lights. They are bright and 3000 is the perfect color temperature for a nice bright white front door light. All four worked to turn off and on by themselves perfectly. I just installed and turned them on.

These lasted longer than non wet rated bulbs, but eventually allowed moisture in and stopped working. Update: Replacing two more because they allow water into them.
