> 24 hourAll bulbs worked out of the box. The 5000K color temperature works better with security cameras than fluorescent bulbs and doesnt pulse like the fluorescent bulbs do. They are sufficiently bright for doorway and porch lighting, while using only 9W per bulb per hour. They appear to tolerated a wide range of outdoor temperatures--so far they have operated well when tested in the range from 10 degrees F to 80 degrees F. The photocells in the bulbs can not be adjusted to a specific level of darkness; as a result, they do turn on up to a half hour before sunset. This is the only downside that Ive found during use, but since they consume very little power, its not a huge issue. Overall, its a very good bulb for where a bright, low-power light is needed, though those who want to use this light for reading might prefer a lower color temperature.

> 24 hourThese lights are great. They even work inside a white glass globe. They are quite sensitive, come on about dusk and are off early in the morning.

> 24 hourI use these out of doors all over the property and havent lost one yet. For 9 watts per bulb I can afford to softly light up my 3 acres.

> 24 hourFinally I dont have to remember to turn on or off the outside lights. Brightness is as listed. I cant comment on longevity as I just bought them, ask me in 3 years.
