These light bulbs are dusk to dawn. They are, to me, better than the dusk to dawn light fixture that prematurely turns on before it is dark and stays on longer after it turns daylight. I cannot fairly rate how long they will last since I just had them installed on 7/31/19. They provide adequate soft lighting. I am satisfied with this purchase so far.

The best thing ever invented! It floods my yard and they are the best. They come on automatically in the dark and them come off in the morning. The brightness is amazing and if you want an easy life, you really should get these for worry free living. Leave your house knowing that it is secured with lights coming on automatically and turning off in the morning.

We switched to these to save money over the old school giant halogen floodlights. We have 4 lights, a set of two on each side of the garage. We hadnt bothered to check how much power was actually being consumed by the older monsters, but leaving them on 24x7 wasnt cheap (being lazy and forgetful doesnt help). These guys come on right around sunset, they shut off right about when the sun is peaking. Theyve already saved us quite a bit of money. Our older lights had a bit more of an orange tint to them, these are much whiter (5k daylight), but not quite into that annoying blue spectrum. Id compare the warmth/cool of the light to that of stadium lighting. Right in the middle. This purchase was for a set of 4, so theyre not exactly cheap, but if you dont already have a built-in dusk/dawn sensor for your lights, and you forget to turn them on/off, this is your answer.

Very bright consistent light. I will repost if longevity is poor.

One of the bulbs worked for one night and now it’s out. I wouldn’t buy again they are too expensive to have them go out after one use.

Work perfectly. Illumination is bright. Excellent option to installing new outdoor fixtures. Wish they were a bit more affordable so that I could use them in all of my outdoor fixtures.

I installed the bulbs in two double flood fixtures. The bulbs in each fixture is pointing in opposite directions. There was no interference noted. Installed the bulbs, flipped the switch, they came on and immediately went off as it was still daylight. At dusk the bulbs came on and they go off shortly after dawn. The 5000K bulbs provide bright white “daylight”. This is not your bulb if you are seeking a soft warm glow. These bulbs provide bright white light. I plan to purchase additional dusk to dawn Sunco lighting bulbs.
