Greater than one weekMy green cheek conure loves this ladder. It’s the perfect size for him and he’s always clamoring away on it. The clasps are very secure and I check for poking wires regularly and so far, so good. It cleans up easily when surface washed. The pet safe dye on the wood does rub off when it’s wet, but I’d rather that than they use something toxic. Even after being wiped down a lot, it’s still bright and colorful and holding up well to bird beaks.

> 3 dayI live in Florida so I have a screened in lanai, that’s where I keep my Budgies cage. He’s unclipped & cage opens from the top with a perch, so he has free range of the lanai. We decided to hang this from the ceiling for an extra perch. It’s now his new favorite spot & has decided this is where he prefers to sleep now

Greater than one weekAfter opening the box, I discovered that two of the beads had split and fallen off of the wire that connects the wooden dowels. Feels rather flimsy. Afraid to put a replacement in the cage in case that, too, breaks & the birds might choke or become injured. I’ll update after I get in touch for a replacement/refund.

> 3 dayCheaply made and not all the clasps were there to attach to the cage.

> 3 dayThe hanging ladder arrived with only three of the four hooks/clasps needed to attach it to the cage. I used a twist tie to attach, but it was the wobbly design my cockatiel did not like. It moved around too much when she tried to step or land onto any part of the ladder.

> 3 dayJust know in advance that this is more suited for larger birds. A parakeet might be okay with it, as well as small parrots of other sorts. The stepping bars are pretty big around and a little too far apart for my finches to enjoy. It can be attached at top and bottom to cage bars, and can be used as a ladder or bridge. It’s bendable, so can also be bent into other shapes. Something I really don’t like is that the first time you wash it, the bright colors run off and stain your hands and anything else they touch. I suppose these should be made of plastic pieces so they are washable. You have to be able to clean them, and the dyed wooden pieces don’t hold their color. Maybe there is a dye that would not run??

> 3 dayLove this product. Birds love it too. Easy to install and due to flexibility, can be turned into various positions for variety. Made of wood for great chewability, which all birds need.

> 3 dayA little shorter than what I expected, but still works out excellent for a rat bridge.
