> 24 hourWhen I first got my ipad in 2014 I had the Otterbox defender case ..as years went by and with constant handling of the iPad the case became worn. I was a bit disappointed some months back when I learned the case was no longer available. I read the reviews on this one and they were good. I decided to make the purchase and I am not disappointed! This case is a perfect fit and it’s STRONG and STURDY and not as costly as the Otterbox cases. I’m happy I made the purchase! And I would recommend it to anyone with the iPad Air 2 and is looking for a case replacement. Excellent case!!

> 24 hourMy mother keeps up with the latest technology. (She helps her friends learn to be as fearless about technology as she is). She recently upgraded her iPad 2nd gen to an iPad Air 2. She really likes how sleek and beautiful the gold model is. Unfortunately it slipped out of her hands and landed on the bed a few days ago. She realizes what a disaster that could have been if it were in the hands of any of her 7 grand children (ranging from 1 to 13 years old). So, I asked her to pick out a case and Id order it for her using my Amazon Prime account. The case arrived on time(Amazon Prime rocks!). My mom stopped by and decided to put it on right away. She chose the black case. Pros 1. On the front of the packaging is s QR code to a video with simple easy to follow directions for installing the case. She wouldnt let me install it for her; she installed it in 2 mins after watching the video. 2. The case is thin and adds traction without too much bulk 3. The case feels good in the hands. 4. The earphone and charging ports have a protective plug to keep out dust. The plugs are wide enough to not be a problem when something is plugged in. (Yes, She plugged in bluetooth earphones to test it). 5. The positions of the covers for volume and on/off buttons is perfect. 6. The cover installed with no bubbles on the screen. 7. The big smile on Moms face when she said-This is grandchild worthy. Cons 1. You cant really call this a real con, just a preference; No kick stand. But in their defense it would unnecessary bulk in my opinion. (And I bet they make one with a kickstand.) 2. Color selection- I wish they had a clear case to showcase my moms beautiful gold IPad Air 2- again this is a personal preference. And since my mom picked it out to be rugged I know she would not believe a clear case could be rugged. Overall rating: Excellent -I will probably get her another in a girly color for travel.

> 24 hourThe Unicorn Beetle PRO Series protective case for the iPad Air is a great purchase if you work in rough environments. I used my iPad a lot this summer for my job and I was constantly in and out of my vehicle. If you have a lot on your mind and get out of your vehicle forgetting your iPad is on your lap, then this protective case is right for you. I also walked through several fields this summer taking pictures with my iPad. The case and screen protector saved my iPad from getting damaged or scratched. Protecting my iPad and still being able to use everything on it made my job easier. Advantages: The Unicorn Beetle PRO Series was four times cheaper than other cases I was looking at. For the durable case I got at a reasonable price, I feel like I made a great purchase. The buttons on the side of the case to control the power and volume all work great. It has a tab that opens and closes where the ear phones plug in. Another thing I like about this case is the opening where the sound and where you speaker is located is protected from dirt and dust. The opening for the camera and flash is just enough to protect them and to take a nice clear picture. Disadvantages: One thing that doesn’t bother me but may bother some people is that the case is not waterproof. The iPad is sealed in the case quite tightly but it doesn’t prevent water from getting into it if a large amount of water covers the case. Another thing I noticed is the screen protector scratches pretty easily; but that also could have been the environment I walked through and didn’t notice what was hitting my screen. For the reasonable price I paid, I am very happy with the Unicorn Beetle PRO Series protector case for my iPad. It has saved my iPad many times from being damaged or scratched. I do recommend anyone looking for an iPad Air case to buy this one. You’ll be glad you did.

> 24 hourThe case wasnt easy to put on the iPad but it wasnt too hard either. I cant rate this item for its durability because I just purchased it, but it seems sturdy enough to provide necessary protection to my device.

> 24 hourUnicornBeetle is the next best thing if you cant afford an OtterBox, if anything I will even dare to say that UnicornBeetle is the best you can get period no questions asked. I have always had a phone case and even a protective case for my iPads and I have always gone with UnicornBeetle and for good reason. Never has my phone or iPads received any damage of any kind to either the bodies or screens. I have dropped my phone plenty of times and my case has always without fail been good to me and my phone especially. If you want a good case, no scratch that part if you want a GREAT case you should absolutely choose UnicornBeetle. Affordable, sturdy, long lasting, and dependable are everything you can expect to get. To get to the point, my iPad air 2 has had a UnicornBeetle case on it since day one back in early 2014, recently the rubber from the case started to peel and break off (as seen in the attached pictures) and considering this has been used every single day since I got it I cannot stress enough how great this case is. I bought the exact same one because I know the quality Im getting and I was willing to pay possibly double than what I did. If you ask me its worth it and this case will not disappoint you I will sign my name to that. One case that lasted nearly 8 years of daily use, how can you not love that?

> 24 hourIdeal User The ideal user for this product could be a wide variety of ages, ranging from children to adults any age. Installation instructions are clear, but there are videos online that make installation a breeze. This case is definitely for people that have is a must have for a device that is exposed to accidental device drops. Even if the device is rarely dropped, the added protection for less than $20 is unbeatable. The case also comes in different colors, allowing it to stand out. Product Evaluation To evaluate this product and give a better understanding of the quality, I will go into the specifics of the product, using criteria such as price, durability, weight, size, water resistance, and response. Price For under $20, this case is absolutely worth it. Cases that cost closer to $100 are using the same materials and have the same drop protection. This is a case that will not break the bank, or the device it is protecting. Durability: This case is incredibly durable and resistant. It is made of a very forgiving, hard plastic on the inside and back, while the outside edges and corners are made of a very shock absorbing rubber. The rubber corners absorb the blow, protecting the devices screen. The case extends past the screen and camera to ensure that in the event of a drop, the screen or camera will not be able to hit the ground directly. Weight & Size The case is not made of a heavy material, yet it remains its integrity, refusing to bend or break. Using this lightweight material helps keep the added size down. After the installation of the case, the outside dimensions of the device and case are only slightly smaller than the device without a case. The case fits snugly onto the device, ensuring that not extra space is created. Water Resistance: The case is not waterproof, but the built in screen protector makes the device water resistant, as well as protecting from other things such as dirt or scratches. The case would protect the device from a quick spill or splash, but not prolonged exposure or submersion into a liquid. Response The button response with this case is excellent. Many cases on the market dull the response of the volume buttons, and can make it potentially difficult to activate the home button, but none of these are issues with this case. When pressing buttons, you can feel the definite clicking of the buttons, ensuring the pressure transfer though is happening. The case also has great access to the charging port. The port is protected by a rubber flap, preventing dust or moisture penetration into the port. The flap is easily moved with intent to expose the port.

> 24 hourAfter doing some research I decided to try this case. Before I begin I need to say that I am a hard core Otterbox Defender user. The Defender is the only case I have ever considered using, have been and am still a staunch advocate of its superior protection and quality of build. I used the Defender on 3 series of iPhones and 4 generations of iPads. The Otterbox Defender is great but it does have a few drawbacks. The first well known issue is the fact that within one year the outer rubber will expand and get loose. Its better than a few years ago when they used some sort of silicon but it still happens. Another problem is the size of the case. Generally the Defender pretty much doubles the thickness and weight of the device. These things never deterred my decision to choose the Defender because its superior protection is necessary due to my line of work and travel schedule. Recently I discovered that the screen area around the home button of my iPad Air 2 has permanent damage caused by the membrane that covered it which was glued to the inside of the Otterbox screen protector. Otterbox apparently discovered the issue and now glue the membrane on the outside of the screen protector. Unfortunately for me I purchased the original Air 2 case before they discovered the problem. That said, I decided to explore other options. After some research, here I am. On to the review... This case is excellent! Right off the bat, it feels and functions as if Otterbox updated the Defender and made it slimmer and half the weight. The iPad fits snug and the screen protector is perfect, as if its not even there. There is no membrane over the home button but the cut out fits perfect around the raised ring surrounding the button in a way there I cant imagine any dust leaking in. Very nice. Unlike the Defender, the back of this case is hard plastic with a rubber like material around the edges. The weight, slim design and feel is great. The port and button covers fit and function perfectly. This case totally feels like an updated intelligent redesign of the Otterbox Defender. The one and only negative is the fact that there is no removable hard screen cover with built in stand like the Otterbox. However, if you are replacing an Otterbox, guess what? The cover fits over this case. It is loose and will not snap on but with a little modification (or a big rubber band) you can make it work. As a serious Otterbox Defender user (for all the years it has existed), I am very happy with this purchase, especially at such a low price!

> 24 hourWas pleasantly surprised by the build quality of the case. Feels really sturdy and has a nice heft as well. Comes with a built in “screen protector” which is just a plastic screen that lays flush on the iPad. Good for the value with only downside is the included screen holds fingerprints and not as smooth. Still worth a purchase though

> 24 hourTook a bit of figuring out how to install it at first but it is very good protection.
