> 24 hourI bought it based on all of the good reviews and the price as a plastic safe, food grade grease for a MSR Miniworks EX microfilter backpacking water filter. I didnt want to buy the whole maintenance kit and I can use this for other stuff as well. LABEL DESCRIPTION Highly lubricious, clear and non-toxic. Excellent dielectric, impervious to salt water. USDA authorized, rated H-1. Temperature range -45F to 450F. Ill submit specs to Amazon for the description. Description for same lube in a larger size: Synco/Superlube is a synthetic multi-purpose grease NLGI grade 2 heavy duty, multipurpose lubricant with PTFE. Synthetic base fluids and the addition of PTFE micro powders combine to form a premium lubricant that provides long life protection against friction, wear, rust, and corrosion. Machinery lasts longer, downtime is reduced, and productivity is increased. USDA listed food grade lubrication, rated H 1 for incidental food contact. Will not run or drip, does not evaporate or form gummy deposits and will not melt or separate. Outlasts conventional grease 50% to 100% and has excellent adhesion. Temperature ranges from 45° F. to 450° F. It looks and feels just like neosporin. 3 oz is quite a bit for most small jobs people will use it for. Its about 6 long x 1.5 diameter. Harbor Fr8 sells it for same price. No shipping.

> 24 hourGood for low-temp applications, but when used on a belt pulley in a dryer it didn;t hold up long (<2 days). Still it looks to be great for bicycle parts and the like.

> 24 hourI dont know if anyone has mentioned my favorite use of this lubricant yet. No, not that. Im talking about refrigerators. Its clear, odorless, food safe, etc. I use it on the drawer slides and channels to replace the factory lube that eventually rubs off or gets too dry.

> 24 hourAn excellent lubricant; with the added advantage of being food grade. Keeps one clear of the Hazardous Material department in a lot of facilities.

> 24 hourSmall size and portability make this a good grease. Easy to take with you and this small tube should still last a very long time. Why buy a big tub that will take years to use.
