> 3 dayIt fits, seems well built. Was able to add a 2.5 SSD without any issues. The screws were a little awkward to get to.

19-11-2024Perfect. I was very impressed with the build quality and fit on this. The sled has a an ssd conversion mount pre-installed with 4x supermicro style sled screws. The ssd conversion mount includes a small bag with an adhesive standoff that was not thick enough to contact my Samsung 860 EVO ssd and 4x well fit ssd machine screws to mount the ssd. My 860 EVO is well positioned to engage the Supermicro chassis.

> 3 daySupermicro sells TWO (2) different 3.5 to 2.5 drive bay converters, with little documentation. That makes it hard to know which is which.

Greater than one weekWorks for installing Crucial SSDs in SuperMicro 6027s. I had tried Icydocks - they DO NOT work with this config, looks like the connectors dont fully mate so the drive is never powered up.

> 3 dayFor those of you unfamiliar with this caddy, it goes into the server upside down. Youll figure it out but maybe this saves you a little time

> 3 dayI used this in a Supermicro 6048R-E1CR36N enclosure for 2x SSDs. It worked perfectly with no problems. If I need to mount more SSDs then Ill be coming back.

> 3 dayThe adapter comes with a compatible supermicro caddy, so no assembly necessary. Just screw the 2.5 drive to it and insert on your server.

> 3 dayThese trays are great for any SSD installation in a Supermicro chassis. They are very simple to install and are just as sturdy as the 3.5 sleds.
