Greater than one weekSupermicro sells TWO (2) different 3.5 to 2.5 drive bay converters, with little documentation. That makes it hard to know which is which.

> 3 dayI wasnt initially aware that I needed one of these to get the system to recognize the drive, but thankfully I suspected there was an available adapter and I managed to find the right one. It has worked perfectly and the price is reasonable.

> 3 dayIt fits, seems well built. Was able to add a 2.5 SSD without any issues. The screws were a little awkward to get to.

05-04-2025What can I say? It positioned my 2.5 drives for use in an older Supermicro which accepts 3.5 drives. Installation is a breeze (if you can use a screwdriver). No disconnects or faults after 2 months of use.
