I got this thinking, its aluminum, it should be light. Nope, its heavier than it should be. Then theres this rubber gasket that goes between the lid and the base, which keeps falling out if not properly set in the groove carved into the base. So you really cant be sure if the gasket in properly seated when secured to the bike. Also, I have airtags in my two other bikes, and this aluminum one might be blocking the signal transmission. My other airtag mounts are plastic and readily find my bikes. This one? Nope.

Highly recommend this. Price is fair and works as promised. I attached to my bike AND the water bottle cage on top. Very pleased.

I have so many buttons etc in my Jeep, this just looks like another device upgrade but it tells me when my Jeep is no longer near me and where it is, plus AirTag lets you setup home bases where if you leave it regularly it wont bug you. Youll need your own screws since the ones that come with this are machine screws and I needed to screw this into the plastic dash material.

I tried the under seat mount and it’s hard to find the one that fits, but for universal application, this was a great option..

This box/case is extremely well made. Had an O ring to keep the water out. Soft material in the holder to keep the AirTag from getting damaged also keeps it quite. The case wasn’t too heavy… would rather it be well built than plastic and break. Could still hear the AirTag ping once inside the case. AirTag works flawlessly in holder. I put some spacers behind mine so I could mount it where I did. The two sizes of screws really helped with this as well. Excellent all around!!
