Sure-Grip Boardwalk Outdoor Wheels

After only three short, outdoor skate sessions, these wheels were chewed up and damaged. My previous wheels, Pulse with the same 78 hardness rating, are four years old without a single divot (as you can see on the righthand picture). The seller claims you cant use these wheels for stopping—a basic, rollerskating technique known as the t-stop. That is unacceptable and nonsensical considering how long the Pulse wheels have lasted skating the exact same paths and using the same techniques. Save your money and avoid these wheels.

I bought these after 5 years of skating on indoor style wheels outside. I thought it was a sign of weakness to have different sets of roller skate wheels... so I skated rollerderby and street skated on the same basic 58mm 85a indoor wheels. Tonight i threw these bad boys on, and disvovered it is now a very comfortable ride, like having a spring in your step. Patchy asphalt and loose gravel are no longer a deal breaker. Kinda like a rally car 4x4 with offroad suspension after being used to highway roads. No longer feeling every grain of sand and vibration-- now it feels fun, and relaxing. Thank you.

I bought some mid-priced quad toller skates and really wanted outdoor quality wheels. These were perfect to upgrade my skates.

I’m fairly new to skating and had been using the stock wheels that came with my Impalas. Those are fine but pretty hard and not fun for cruising around outside. Every little thing can make you fall. I feel a world of difference switching to these wheels! The ride is soooo smooth I feel liberated from fear of falling and have more fun skating outside now. Color is great too. Would buy again!

Didnt realize my old wheels were garbage until I put these on and almost broke my back. They ride so fast and smooth something I was NOT used to. I have to learn how to skate all over again lol but I love them and once I get some strength in these baby giraffe legs itll be roll bounce!

Good wheels would recommend them to any one.

Nice roller skating wheels

I bought this to go a pair of Impala skates. I’m an adult beginner and I’ve been practicing on outdoor basketball and tennis courts. These roll over small gravel and cracks no problem. I’m still in the beginning phases of learning so I can’t comment on how they work with fancy tricks. But for just rolling and learning, I highly recommend!

After reviewing these wheels... I was expecting them to be more like a 65mmx37mm wheel. Given the name and marketing of a Boardwalk Wheel. However, if you are wanting more floor surface, I have to say that these are not what I was expecting, given that the Atom Pulse wheels are 65x37, and these are 65x36, they might be close enough. I will need to skate them before my final judgement, because theyre also close to the floor surface of a 65mmx32mm, due to where the wheel curvature is. But, I have yet to get the data for this final review.
