SwissGear Cecil 5505 Laptop Backpack, Dark Grey/Black, 18-Inch

I use this bag to take my laptop to and from work by foot, and it looks and works great. Its much sleeker, lighter and smaller than the old gym bag it replaces and is well made. Its very compact but has plenty of room for basic brief case items (pens, business cards, a charger, a few papers and my laptop). I can even fit my gym gear in here if Im careful about it. If you want a small bag that looks good and is well made, this is a good choice. If you want a lot of room to stop at the store or carry extras, youre not going to fit that in here.

Had one of these bad boys in high school about 10 years ago. It was crazy durable. This beast is no different. Doing the college thing now and its lugging books, laptop, and accessories with no issue at all. I would not hesitate to purchase again.

It’s good just needs more padding a bigger laptop pouch and a little extra space otherwise things get broken

We bought this for our daughters hybrid return to middle school campus. With the pandemic protocols in place she cant leave her large, heavy books at school and must carry them back and forth along with her PC. This backpack has both the size and the sturdiness to stand up to that strain. The seams are thick and I dont see any sign of them separating from the load. The padded PC compartment is very good for protecting her computer from the daily bumps and drops that kids, school and backpacks entail. Finally the padded shoulder straps and carrying handle are well-designed to minimize the strain when lifting or wearing the backpack. I highly recommend this model.

Although the title says 18 inch. The description says that it can only fit up to 15.6 inch laptop. If you have 17 inch and above sized laptop I suggest to get something else.

My son uses it for school, he carries a lot of books everyday and this is durable enough to take the weight without getting broken

Durability is very good and shoulder straps are comfortable. I would like more smaller pockets in front section.

Was expecting it to be easier to fit more stuff, especially because of the brand. A bit disappointed, but otherwise it has a nice amount of pockets and looks great! You can even add pins on the front pocket if you wanted to :)
