SYLVANIA ECO LED Light Bulb, A19 60W Equivalent, Efficient 9W, 7 Year, 750 Lumens, 2700K, Non-Dimmable, Frosted, Soft White - 8 Pack (40821)

These bulbs are frosted but not very well.when they are turned off they look just like a burnt bulb,like dark spots and not very white.As I had 2 of the regular 40watt halogen bulbs still working I compared the 2 and brightness is close to the same when on.Appearance when off the halogen look much better as far as the frosted look.I will say the led seemed to stay much cooler than the halogen bulbs.I usually only use 3 at a time which is plenty bright in case your wondering why 2 are not lit.

Only last about 6mo or so and go out

Seems like it is hard to find an LED light that lasts as long as the old incandescent type. These ones seem to last a few months and then go dim or flicker.

The light is just the perfect shade of sunlight without the glare. Made our rooms looks so bright and cheerful. Very happy with this light.

I replaced 8 light bulbs in two fixtures with 4 bulbs each. In just 10 months, I have had 3 out of 8 die. I bought these because they had a 4.7-star review on Amazon, for what that is worth. I give them a 1-star for lasting about 10 months before they started dying in bunches. The bulbs say they are good for 7 years and have a one-year joke warranty. The warranty says you must return the bulbs to the store for a replacement, as in much more hassle than it is worth. I have no idea how Amazon will handle 3 random bulbs.

Led bulbs are supposed to last longer but I have one that has burned out in just 3 weeks. It started flickering about 2 weeks in. These are garbage!

Although these bulbs were cost effective and arrived timely, they are not what I was expecting. The lighting is way too bright and reminds me more of super bright industrial flourescent lighting. These lightbulbs were described as Daylight versus Soft. I ordered them to replace 60W bulbs for ceiling fixtures based on the description and photos depicting daylight color to focus and soft light for relaxing . They are overwhelmingly bright, even in my kitchen where I want good lighting for food preparation. I dont believe I can rate them on energy efficiency and longevity since Ive used them for about one month only.

I used these bulbs to enhance the lighting in my front portion of my house. I previously had bulbs that were 60 watts and these bulbs are equivalent to 100 watts. I no longer have dark areas in the front of my home.

Good value for the money! I like having lots of light bulbs since to me there is nothing worse than going without a light.

Longevity? 3 stars only because it is too soon to tell. Seems to provide clean and bright daylight-white. Much brighter for bathroom than previous yellowish-tinged fluorescents. It makes for easier shaving, etc. Cant compare to other brands because, Sylvania is only led lights Ive ever owned. Some of the previous lights were dimmable. But, Ive never gotten around to installing dimmers in two years. So, I went with these at the advice of an electrician with 30+ years in the field. So far, Ive been very happy with both the value and the performance of the product.
