This charger charges both my iPhone and my 2 ipads (not at the same time, lol). It is fairly compact (the coiled cord is not too long) and doesnt get in the way if my coffee cup or other items in this area.

Depending on where your car plug is, this may not work for you. Had to return for that reason. It doesn’t stretch out easily, so be careful before buying.
