These are not a super thick material, however they are wide. They cover a good area while my child is on my shoulder so he cant help but spit up on it and not me. They are thinner though so if its a lot of spitup or very watery, it will seep through to the other side.

These are everything you want in a burp cloth soft, machine washable and they really soak up the spit up. My baby had bad reflux and we invested in 3 more packs after the first few washes. All packages came with the same high quality. Other brands we tried were soaked through to our clothes and some were even dripping but not these.

Must for an infant

These are great! Don’t shrink or change shape after washing like others I have purchased.
