> 3 dayBought this as a last resort to save my mini iPad, the screen was cracked to the point it would leave shards in my finger if I tried to use it. I figured if I bought this and could change out the screen great, if I couldn’t and it was too complicated then fine because the iPad was going to be trash anyway. But I am beyond grateful I bought this screen because it not only saved my iPad from going in the trash but the installation video for help was amazing and so detailed! It took me two days to be able to removed all the broken shards from the iPad but once everything was gone I was able to install the new screen within one hour. Super recommend this for anyone wanting to save their iPad!

> 3 dayBought this to replace a different replacement screen on which the button had failed. This one lasted longer, but the button did eventually also fail. The adhesive that holds the button bracket in place came undone and the button started slipping back behind the screen and would get stuck. I attempted to remove the screen to see if I could somehow reaffix the button bracket to the back of the glass, but the glass broke in the process. Obviously that parts my fault, but theres no sense in trying to repair it at this point.

> 3 dayThe screen was fine and looks great. Can’t tell any difference if it’s ever been repaired. The only downside and it’s not really bad….just annoying at times, but the home button will sometimes get stuck. Press it again and it releases. It’s not a big deal….but it is something to be aware of.

Greater than one weekThe connecting cable was very fragile. It came folded and pressed at halfway. There was loose contact, possibly at the fold... it worked sometimes and did not work sometimes. After trying few times, the wire broke at the fold and the item never worked again. The original iPad cable was lot more robust... just as a comparison. Since the wire broke, I did not return the item... was a waste of money.

Greater than one weekThe screen pops open because the adhesion is kind of not right there. literally in just minutes, it pops open. I put rubber band for a few days to hold the screen, thinking maybe the adhesion will do a better job.. same thing after, just opens up. Would not recommend this.

> 3 dayThis was a perfect kit to replace the touch screen on my Ipad mini 2. It comes with several handy tools, especially the mini Phillips head screwdriver driver, the plastic guitar picks to prop the touch screen up, and a couple of other tools to make it easy to do everything you need. A few other items to get: B-7000 glue which is needed to glue the glass screen back into place, and some eye wear protection - if youre replacing shattered glass, the little shards of glass can pop everywhere including into your eyes! I used a blow dryer to heat the edges, too, but that blows the little pieces of glass everywhere, too, so Id recommend a heat gun instead. But I got by without the gun, and fixed two iPads in a couple of hours. It was fairly easy to do, just need patience and be careful not to scratch the LCD screen beneath thtouch screen glass. Dont use a metal putty knife like some videos show; its likely to scratch the LCD. Just use the plastic tools that come with this kit.
