22-11-2024I needed this adapter to attach a phone mount (that uses a 17mm ball) to an extension arm (that uses a 20mm ball), and it worked perfectly. All aluminum means its heavy and strong, and the best part of this adapter is that the metal balls do not warp or flatten out when you tighten the clamps (unlike a plastic version). Worth the extra cost over plastic for sure.
