Greater than one weekI really loved the look of this umbrella, when it arrived there was a small crack in the bottom of the umbrella. I didnt think much of it, but during the first windy rain storm my umbrella snapped at the hilt, I walked a mile in the rain with a broken umbrella sticking out of my backpack. I would not recommend this product if you plan on using it.

> 3 dayWonderful umbrella, it’s very light so windy conditions can make it difficult to hold still, but it covers a large area and is easy to use.

> 3 dayStraight out of the box, I noticed the handle was not that great quality. The wood (or the laminate) seems to be low grade. It came with dings and nicks in it and a deep groove, which indicates to me- poor construction. For the price tag this commands, I expect it to arrive without any imperfections. Sending the item back.

09-06-2025Went to go use my umbrella for the first time today and saw that it was cracked. Too late to return. I would if I could. It does have a cool jewel button to open the umbrella, but it’s cheap. Definitely not work $40. ☹️

> 3 dayMy elderly parents took a journey to Canada to ride the passenger train across the continent and do sight seeing. Ever since they kept talking about leaving my good umbrella in a Toronto taxi. So I took the hint and found a nice sturdy umbrella for under $200 (was thinking maybe carbon fiber or one of those self defense umbrellas... my dads one who complains about cheaply made products and yet keeps buying them). So anyway, twas a Christmas gift for the both of them. A nice classy well made cane style umbrella. And it showed up with some dents in the main shaft and looker kinda crappy but... it was 1/4 what I was gonna spend... so, I dont really have a major complaint. It definitely seems well built and sturdy.

> 3 dayUnfortunately this was not good quality. I ordered it for my elderly Mom for Thanksgiving, hoping for something sturdy and yet not difficult to close. (And I paid good money, too.) Visiting her now at Christmas, I see already two prongs are sticking out of the frayed material. Very disappointing. I shall have to look for something else.

Greater than one weekThis product is incredibly bad. There is no sturdiness and feels like it will break in the wind.

Greater than one weekPiece of junk. Arrived with the handle scratched in several places revealing too that it isn’t wooden, it’s a cheap veneer. Should cost around $5 and be sold at Walmart. Do yourself a favor, get a Balios, far superior. I have one and thought this Tahari might be similar, not even close.
