I am the worst at losing lens caps. I wish I could purchase them by the gross - Im really that bad. Within a couple of weeks of getting a new Tamron lens, I had, of course, lost the lens. Since the lens still had that new glass smell, though, I was reluctant to just get a generic cap for it and ruin the aesthetic, so I purchased this cap. Since its Tamron, I find it fits well, although for some reason, I dont think its as easy to get on as the one that came with the lens. Sometimes I have to make a couple of tries, which always makes me paranoid Im going to scratch the glass. So far, though, so good.

After losing my original lens cap, I finally ordered this one and it fit perfectly! Just what I needed! Recommended to anyone who loses theirs or just needs a spare backup.

after years of sticking my lens cap in my pocket I finally lost it while hiking in soft sand dunes, I probably didnt hear it fall. This replacement fit perfectly. The problem with the Tamron lens cap is that the stick on lens keepers dont work on these, there is no place to put the sticky dot. The one thing I have never liked about my Tamron lens was there they was no lens keeper string for the lens cap.

Il prezzo è altissimo per un semplice tappo.. ma sinceramente con lenti di questa qualità e prezzo.. non si può prendere un tappo compatibile.. per cui.. il prezzo è giustificato dalla qualità, anche per questi particolari, made in japan

These pinch caps are far better than the cruddy kind that pinch at the edges. Buy one for your Tammy if you have the old kind. Makes a nice difference every day.
