The jacket hits a little below the knee, which is what I wanted. It would be difficult to wear as a dress, but good as a lightweight jacket. I was looking for a great denim dress and this did not disappoint. The dress may run slightly large in that I ordered a small and it fit me well - perhaps slightly looser than I would have liked, but it allows me to wear a layer under the dress which is great for winter. Most smalls fit me perfectly (i.e. no room for area or extra space) as my shoulders are slightly broader, but I had no issues with this. The arms were also long enough. For reference, I am 58 and 130 lbs. I typically buy medium tops and small bottoms, but with dresses I usually do ok with size small. Happy Shopping! it was big out of the package but after washing n drying on high heat, i shrank it enough to fit perfectly. nice thickness and warm and high quality, luv it.

Surprisingly well designed and good quality. Real denim material. It also has a little stretch but I would still size up, unless you like your clothes bulging at the seems.
