This item leaks very badly. Once the compressor hose was attached paint began pouring out of the hose below the thread as if it has a huge gashing hole in it. Unfortunately I purchased this back in November and just got around to using it for the first time. Does not work with latex paint. Paint had to be thinned to nearly water equivalent to get the paint to come through. Then the spray quality was awful like spitting. Adjusting the cup pressure made no difference at all. I was afraid to increase the pressure on the compressor past the recommended setting out of fear that it would make the cup explode.

Using for resin, made the mods needed. Some were tricky to make threads and sizes not easy available plumbing supply’s best bet. I don’t get any leaking with this pot

I purchased the chamber for use in molding rubber. It requires upto 90psi. After assembly (valves, and hoses) it pressure tested it for 5 days. In that time period the pressure dropped only 5psi... Amazing. It is well made and I will likely use it as a paint sprayed as well. I would have given it 5 stars if the valves were positioned a little differently. They are necessarily in an awkward position. The pressure can be read but the valve position makes it hard to see.

As seen in my photo, i converted this for resin casting, my next note is VERY important GET A NEW GAUGE AND POP OFF VALVE!! I had no idea the gauge was broken when i first used it, i did not mess with it at all, but it was obscenely inaccurate!! When i pressurized it, from my pov the tank had issues going over 30 psi, the seal would roll and release my pressure until it went to 29 psi. Or so the gauge read. Around my third run, as soon as i activated the plunger, the gauge jumped to 70 psi, so naturally i immediately released all the pressure, there could not have been more than 5 psi at the time... The gauge did not go back to 0, so i got a new one, now its at 40 psi and we are good. My best guess is i was pressurized at over 60 psi when the seal rolled, but regardless as a safety measure spend the extra $13 on a new gauge so this thing doesnt explode on you!! Otherwise, it was easy to convert. My first time, which explains the crude work lol, just be real careful with it because they have a thread sealer in most of the threads so they suck to remove. Turned it into a pressure pot for casting resin. Works just fine.

Well Ill have to be the second guy whos pissed about whatever they use to lock in the fittings. Just wanted to replace the pressure relief valve in it and its jammed to tightly in there with some kind of lock-tite that it just snapped off. Effectively ruining the whole thing. Hopefully the customer service is better than building process. Guess well see..... Edit: I got the broken relief valve out and replaced. Only to find that almost every fitting on the thing leaks and the pressure gauge sticks at 15psi even with no pressure in it so who knows what the actual psi is. In other words, other than the pot itself, its a piece of crap. And the response Ive gotten so far from customer service basically says congratulations on voiding the warranty since I dared replacing the leaking relief valve myself. So in a nutshell, the only way Im not having wasted $110 on a piece of crap is to take all of it apart myself, fix all the leaky fittings, and buy a new (working) pressure gauge. So much for made in America meaning anything.....

Emergency pressure release valve is a faulty. Leaks at less than 40 PSI and will need to replace the part. Other than that the tank is solid and well built. Seals nice and is easy to use.
