It comes with instructions, in case the user doesnt know how to install the memory (if I remember right, its below the memory). The computer detected the memory perfectly after installation. I have tested it with some games and some programs open simultaneously and I really like the way it performs now with more RAM. My laptop/notebook is an Lenovo IdeaPad 3 with AMD.
