ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: The seller sold me a supposedly bootable installer USB stick for MacOS 10.11. The stick is not bootable to start with. As the response from the seller, he said take your iMac to someone!!! My 2016 model iMac has no problems and I had it checked out at Apples Diagnostic web site and it found no problems. I returned their USB stick and this time I purchased from another company MacOS 11.x Big Sur. Their USB stick is 3.0 and I plugged and started the computer without even holding any key! It booted with no problems and installed Big Sur nicely and then I upgraded to last version on Monterey 12.x, one before the latest OS Ventura. All happened with Motels slow wi-Fi connection. If you do the same thing, Monterey macOS. I bought this Bootable installer USB stick from PC-Repair-Lifetime seller, I recommend it. Unless you have already an OS on your computer and to down or up grade, MAYBE it works, otherwise do not even try!!! The seller blamed me for staying connected to Internet which was not true because i cancelled the wi-fi. The seller was no help but after my first response, he only said rather than helping me out, thanks for the feedback!!! Th to troble shooting!!! is seller supposedly included a installation video which was so out of focus, I could not even see what was on their screen but from the number of icons, it was nothing like what was described on their instruction sheet. I think they bought from another company without even trying the product The USB stick cannot even boot my iMac 2016 model, let alone installing. The seller says take your iMac to someone!!!! So I ordered another MACOS as USB Bootable Installer from a different seller.

This is the simplest possible install procedure: 1. Insert USB stick into USB drives. 2. Restart by holding the Alt key (or Option key, depending on the keyboard model). 3. Once the start options appear on the screen, you can release the ALT key, select the Install option and follow the instructions. You can choose to erase/format the hard disk before installation - recommended. Installing or upgrading your software from a USB Stick is a quick process and can take 10-15 minutes to complete. It will sometimes look as though nothing is happening but please be patient and allow the process plenty of time to finish. Step 1: Reverse any hardware upgrades and bring the machine back to its original Apple approved hardware. Step 2: Install or upgrade. Step 3: Upgrade your hardware, piece by piece as much as the system will accept. Apple makes software for hardware components with particular specs. Other components might work, but they"ll never be a 100% match for the OS or any other software or even the rest of the hardware components. The further away you are from the original machine the highest the chance to not work as expected or to not work at all. In 90% of the cases of a failure to install or upgrade it"s either an issue of having memories or HDDs (SSDs) which are not on Apple"s list of certified hardware. This is the simplest possible install procedure: 1. Insert DVD DL / Blu-ray / USB stick into DVD / Blu-ray / USB drives. 2. Restart by holding the Alt key (or Option key, depending on the keyboard model). 3. Once the start options appear on the screen, you can release the ALT key, select the Install option and follow the instructions. You can choose to erase/format the hard disk before installation - recommended.
