Teether Rattle, World of Eric Carle The Very Hungry Caterpillar Teething Toy for Babies

I have given myself the altruistic duty of buying my 3 month old (14 weeks to be exact) daughter everything The Very Hungry Caterpillar because its one of my favorite books from my childhood, so I cant say for sure its HER favorite, but I can say that its size makes its perfect to fit in her hands (it was much smaller than I though it would be), and along with the texture and interesting sound it makes when she grasps it, it is helping her work on her grip as well. She puts every part of it that she possibly can in her mouth, and since its one of MY favorite books, it warms my heart to see her enjoy it. Love it.

This was about half the size I expected, but thats entirely on me for not reading more carefully. With that being said, I honestly am super satisfied with the size. I like it much better as it seems much easier for my 4 month old to grab and hold as well as more comfortable in his hands. Very soft fabric, and each roll of the Caterpillar is a different type. Some of it crinkles and that really satisfies the little one. The only thing I personally dont much care for is the feel of the plastic apple. It feels a bit cheaper, and is quite thin but that doesnt bother the little one so no biggie!

I love this little teether, my son still hasnt used it since he wont be here for another 5 weeks however the items itself is very well made and really cute! I will update my review once he uses it.

My daughter has had this toy since around 2 months. She is now 4 months, and of all the toys she plays with, this is by far her favorite!!! It was the first toy she could really hold on to, she loves to chew on it, and she gets SO excited whenever I give it to her... This caterpillar will turn her frown upside-down every time! Its adorable! We got it as a gift from my sister because it was her daughters favorite toy as well. Definitely recommend this for babies!
