I used this to connect my PS2 to a large screen LG tv that had component connections. The audio was fine. Although the picture was sharper than using the original composite cables, it was in black and white. I made sure that the PS2 was in YPbPr when I tried these cables then changed it back to RGB when trying the composite for comparison. Product was returned.

This cord is absolutely worthless. The audio interference is horrendous. It sounds like your are getting spit roasted through the ear holes by Beelzebub and Mephistopheles at the same time. Makes everything unplayable and unwatchable.

For my purposes of hooking my PS3 up to my TV via the component out, it does that. However, there are refresh lines that scroll up the screen and the speakers always emit an audible hum - since I havent had problems with the TV or component outs before, Im inclined to believe its the cable. Its not usually noticeable while actually playing a game, but its still there when it shouldnt be. Its functional, but it falls below the level of a complete recommendation.

It does what it’s supposed to do but the difference isn’t as big as I thought it would be. Still looks better than the original and it’s cheap so it’s worth the money.

Works perfectly, which is more than I can say for the original one.

After installing to my component ready tv I was hopping that component cables for ps2 would be the right fit and Ideal given they were a step up from composit cables that came with the ps2 ...but with my disdain so much flickering I steped back and re asseced to see If I was doing something wrong...but what I found is that these cable was faulty.. so I am hoping with my other purchase here in amazon can finaly be that expectation I was hopping for

Does not work, TV does not like signal despite being capable of 480p/I.

Used with my PS2 PHAT into my AV Receiver that outouts as HDMI to my 4K display and no artifacts or noise, still working after 6+Months of weekly use.

Recently bought a ps2 and was using it without this component. Composite was decent, but after using this component, man.. there was such a difference, there’s no point in going back! Highly recommend! Super exciting bc the picture looks way more crisp and detailed, and we can actually read things now lol ALSO shipping was on fast and on time. Very satisfied w this purchase. In addition to these, we got the part needed to plug them into, which I will leave a review for separately.
