08-06-2025compared to rolls i got from Waytek. this stuff is softer and the label does not look the same. it barely sticks to itself let alone the harness.

> 3 dayWhile buying some things to finish up re-wiring an old pickup I have I ran across this tape. I had seen it in vehicles before but for some reason I never tried to find it. Seeing as how electrical tape is awful I thought Id give it a try. Now, having used it, I will never buy electrical tape again. This stuff is very easy to use, looks super clean installed, doesnt leave sticky crap all over your hands/wires and I like that there are two options. Ive used both the fuzzy and the heat resistant tape for different applications and I like them both. Ive seen reviews where folks complained that the tape had dried out and wasnt very sticky, but the stuff I got was fine. For storage I just throw the remaining rolls in a ziploc bag and so far havent had any issues.

> 3 dayUsed this to clean up my computer wiring... and when I had to remove it to integrate a new audio solution I was left with an absolutely nasty, gooey, sticky mess as bad or worse than anything Ive experienced with standard old vinyl electrical tape. At least electrical tape didnt leave the goo all over the wires... typically just on the tape and somewhat on your hands. I guess I should have expected this given the way dust adhered to it. I will not be using it again. In fact Im throwing away the other three roles I have. Even in a car, you have to be able to unwrap and rewrap wiring. This mess is never going to come off. I had to use acetone to get it off my hands.
