Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus CE Blueberry Graphing Calculator

Perfect, just what the kids needs for their school. Better than the school version.

As much as I hated having to buy this on top of everything else I had to buy for college, it is a very nice product. The display is crisp and I appreciate the color display. The plastic is very sturdy and it feels like it could take all the abuse my backpack has to offer. Battery life is good and the rechargeable battery is awesome. Unlike everything else college requires, I actually feel this is worth what I had to pay for it.

Son using for school

I purchased this calculator for my son. We have used this style of calculator in the past, and it works great. I was disappointed when it arrived with a broken screen, but I know this is a great product, and this was just a fluke.

I truly love this calculator. For starters, it is nice looking. It has a great display and comes in an array of interesting colors. The buttons are laid out in a practical and easy-to-get-used-to arrangement. It is also thin and light-weight and has an amazing battery life. I use thing calculator very often (multiple times a day) and I find myself charging it every few weeks. It comes with useful applications. My favorites of which are the periodic table, probability simulations, and science tools applications. In addition, this calculator is programmable using TI Basic. This was the first device I began programming on and it is definitely a great start for beginner programs or anyone who wants to create their own programs (including games) on a calculator. Another fun feature is the colored graphing display. You can change the color and type of line on the graph, change the color of the background of the graph, change the color of the border of the graph, turn grid lines on and off, turn axes on and off, change color of axes, and even use a photo as the background of the graph. This calculator comes with a few photo options, but you can also download your own off a computer using the TI Connect™ CE software with the charging cord. I definitely recommend this calculator.
