This is one of those things that is so obvious once you receive the item, but something you wouldnt think of when ordering. This will not work with a case whose purpose is to put your Kindle to sleep when you close it. The plastic claws that wrap over the front will keep the case open, and your Kindle will never sleep like its supposed to, and your battery will disappear at lightening speed.

This is the best and safest way I’ve found to hold a Kindle Reader. Prior to this, my thumbs hurt so much I stopped using the Reader. My hand doctor recommended this and it’s terrific.
