This is an Easy to use and relatively inexpensive sanding pad. I used it on 2 car repairs a picnic table and garage door, so far. Just keep in mind that a grinder probably spins around 2 times as fast as a sander / polisher. Take it slow. If you run full speed youre going to burn it up...

Works great for polishing aluminum

In my humble opinion this pad is too small to do any kind of precise work at speeds over 1000 rpm. 500 or less preferred. Maybe a softer pad or more broken in would work better at higher speeds. This is in the context of sanding surfboards. Maybe better for other applications.

Had to use an adapter to get it to fit my standard 4 1/2” grinder but luckily I had a bunch since they come with most grinder accessories. This really should come with one too. Other than that was very happy with purchase.

Im sure this is a high quality item however its my first time using something like this 10000 rpm sanding pad nearly destroyed my grinder did distroy the pad and sand paper all in the very first second of use im sure its my fault point is if you dont know what you are doing get help its very dangerous.

This works fine for sanding with an angle grinder, though it running a full-size grinder at full speed shreds sandpaper in the blink of an eye
