Cant live without this wonderful bead embroidery foundation. Black and dark colors are hard to find, so get them while you can.

I thought this was for a backing to use for beading like an ultra suede it is a backing but for use as a filler. I use felt or batting material that is much less expensive that this product. I returned it.

Dont waste money on this, go to the craft store and buy an extra thick sheet of felt for .98 cents. Thats exactly what this product is. Get felt at the craft store, or go with Lacys StiffStuff which I bought as well, only comes in white but at least it is a proper beading foundation, and not a cheap piece of felt that is overpriced by 6 bucks.

Exactly what I was looking for. Sturdy enough to hold the beads firmly in place and easy to insert the needle with little resistance.

Comparing the two, I will only note the differences as they are very much the same. Beadsmith beading foundation is a little thicker than Lacy’s Stiff Stuff. Beadsmith is way easier to put a needle thru. (Making it my favorite) Beadsmith also comes in black. Beadsmith is less expensive. This is the Foundation I will be using from now on.

Shipping was a little slow, but the price made up for it. I have been using beadsmith foundation for years. I use a lot of beadsmith products, and I always will. Their quality makes all the difference. When putting so much time into a project, you want to use the best quality possible so it lasts for years. Thank you so much. You really can sew beads right to the end of the foundation <3 love it!

Its thicker stiff felt. This package was a good value, comparatively. I tried beading with regular felt. It could not maintain its shape as it was too thin. This is really nice as Im beginning. My first cab turned out fairly well.
