The Elder Wand in Ollivanders Box

Unbelievable quality! Opening the box was pure magic the presentation is amazing and shipping was so quick too. My daughter will love this!!!

We got this for our nine year old who is a very big Harry Potter fan. He really likes it and after six months of regular use, the wand has not broken. I expected it to break soon. It was a little on the expensive side, but nonetheless the child seems to love it, it hasnt broken, and has given him hours of job pretending to cast spells on all of us. Would buy again and suggest to others. My child wishes me to note that he has not yet actually gotten the wand to perform magic and he says probably it wont but you never know and if he is able to have some success with that he will report back on things.

A must-have for any Harry Potter fan. This wand is made of resin so it feels hefty in your hand, but definitely not pliable like a real wooden wand would be. The attention to detail is impressive, from the box it comes in to the actual casting of the wand and symbols on the surface itself. The paint isnt easily worn, so you dont have to treat this like a museum piece and hide it away forever (because lets be honest- watching the Harry Potter movies is a LOT more fun when youve got a wand in your hand). My only complaint about the wand is the fact that its made of resin so it does feel fragile and a bit strange, since obviously the real wand is supposed to be made of wood. But if youre really that into HP that you want the Elder wand made of wood, then you should go find a branch and carve a real one yourself. To sum it up: great conversation piece, a must-have for any HP fan. Resin material feels a bit weird, but as long as you dont carry it around 24/7 in your back pocket, youll be ok.

I thought these were a little pricey at first until I received the item. These are absolutely incredible. The quality is amazing. The presentation is just like in the movie. It looks so good and it feels like real wood too. Very authentic and comparable to the ones from the actual movie. Worth the money.

The quality is high as it appears to be hand made, so it is very nice to display. I have gotten many good comments from friends and family.

Looks great. Not sure about the durability or the sturdiness since I will not be using them as toys. Even the box states that they are fragile. So not sure why people are surprised when they break, etc. I will be buying more in the future for sure. Edit - Forgot to mention. These are made by the same company and sold at the theme parks. But the presentation boxes for these look a lot better than the plain ones that are sold at the theme parks. There are some videos on Youtube that show the differences. For me, the presentation is much better with this than if I bought it at Universal.
