This might be the last BTK book anyone would need. So perfectly researched. New photos and new info. The illustrations are awesome. It is time lined. I am so thrilled with it.

Great book very informative

This is a random, incoherent bunch of snippets of intermingled fact and fiction about Billy the Kid, with assertions of validity of many things that are demonstrably not true. Its as though the author took a carelessly assembled srapbook and just dumped the pages on the floor. That some of the photographs are interesting is the only thing that earns it a second star. I wasted my money.

An alternative to a traditional biography, this book contains a timeline of events as well as many sidebars and additional pages with loads of information, illustrations, and photos, including cleverly imagined and executed reenactment photos. I love this book and it is very easy to refer back to as well, so the only problem would be tearing it up from looking at it too much. The most fun book imaginable detailing a large number of shootings!

I love the information and the photos maps and in particular the art. Own many books on Billy and this one contains a lot of information and beautiful art.

Exceptional work by the preeminent Old West researcher and author of our time.....great book.
